The Club’s premises are in Bedford Place, off Russell Square, London WC1. The
entrance to the Club is up three steps from the pavement at 21 Bedford Place. Taxis and
other vehicles may drop and collect visitors directly in front of the entrance or nearby,
subject to space being available.
We can assist visitors on the front steps and with luggage.
Main Entrance & Reception
The front door is 140 cms wide.
There is seating in the hallway, close to the reception counter.
A ‘loop’ system is available at reception. Hearing aids should be turned to the ‘T’
The public areas – the hallway / reception area and adjacent WC, the Cadbury Room, the
Dining Room and the TV Room – are all on the same level as the front door. Doors
separating the rooms and areas on this floor are at least 80 cms wide.
Seating in the Dining Room is in the form of upright chairs.
The Cadbury Room and TV Room both have a variety of seating, including upright chairs.
We do not play background music in any area of the Club.
Menus are available in large print.
We offer vegetarian options for breakfast as well as a traditional cooked breakfast. We
do not provide gluten-free bread, although gluten-free crisp bread is available. There is a fridge available
for guests who wish to bring their own products.
The bedrooms are located on four floors: two on the ground floor, 14 on the 1st floor, 13
on the 2nd floor and 16 on the 3rd floor. There is no lift.
There are 19 bedrooms with ensuite shower and toilet facilities, including both bedrooms
on the ground floor. There are shared bathrooms on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors.
Assistance dogs are welcome by arrangement.
The Club provides a pay telephone, a computer for guests’ use and WiFi access.
